CrossFit was built on constantly varied functional movements performed at intensity, because your body adapts fast when you do the same thing over and over.

Foundational training matters because it teaches you how to move well first, then challenges you to apply those movements in different ways: squats, presses, pulls, hinges, carries, gymnastics, conditioning, and everything in between.

Learn the basics. Build the positions. Then keep showing up for the work that may make you a little uncomfortable. That’s where progress lives.
