Somewhere along the way we decided that training a few months a year was enough to call yourself committed. It isn't.
Development isn't seasonal. The standard was never a fraction of the work done when it's convenient — it's the habit the best never break. And here's the part no one says out loud: the reason complete commitment looks easier at the top is because it literally is. At the highest level, everything is built around the work. Most people aren't less disciplined. They're just fighting their logistics.
That's the gap we're closing. More soon. 💪🏼
Old enough to know better. Young enough to still send it when I want to. Wise enough to appreciate that as soon as I stop...it's all over.
