What's a team retreat without a kayaking trip?

This past Thursday, our mostly remote iLS Network team got together for some quality face time (no, not that kind).
The iLS team is a small, but mighty group of individuals, each of us bringing our own unique talents. Together, on beautiful Wekiva Island, we brainstormed the future goals of the company, how to be more impactful in the markets we serve, and dreamed up plans for our next big projects. Powered by morning Einstein bagels and revived by afternoon coconut shrimp, our team spent half of the day getting energized by the pursuit of becoming the connecting piece in student housing across the southeast. Then, we paired up and took to the water. Our bums were soggy and our arms were sore by the end, but we left inspired.

Please welcome Caleb Padgett to our Summer 2022 Digital Marketing Internship team!

Caleb is a senior at the University of Georgia studying Marketing with a digital emphasis at the Terry College of Business. He’s originally from Cu***ng, GA and decided to transfer to UGA from Georgia College & State University after his second year. Caleb was able to learn a lot about apartments and the Georgia market when he worked for his family’s company furnishing apartments in the Metro-Atlanta area. Caleb is so excited to join the iLS Network team!

Miya is a junior at the University of Georgia, majoring in Advertising with a minor in Fashion Merchandising. Miya is greatly interested in Fashion and is involved with Rogue Magazine (a student-run fashion and beauty publication) as a communications and PR coordinator. She comes from a large multicultural Afro-Caribbean family and is a first-generation university student. Miya is very excited for the experience and knowledge to be gained from the team at iLS Network.
