the lie -> social media makes us think we know someone’s whole story or actually know them at all.

For as long as I’ve been on social media, people have wanted to ‘label me’…
✨ The fitness girl.
✨ The Beachbody girl.
✨ The Disney girl.
And I know that’s how our brains make sense of the world. But labels NEVER tell the whole story right? 

I’ve ALWAYS been interested in habits, in storytelling, in magic, in optimism and joy, in wellness, in Disney.

Today, a lot of the stories I see happen while I’m working part-time at Disney. They also might happen while I’m walking Sawyer, reading a book, wandering through Trader Joe’s.

The location changes.
But what I look for doesn’t. 

If you’re here for Disney vacation planning tips, you’re going to be disappointed. 😬😬
If you’re here because you’re trying to build a more joyful life in all the ways, especially in midlife, come on in. 

And a reminder: we are only seeing one chapter of someone’s story on social media.
Let’s be a little slower to assume we know the whole book.
Ask questions.
Get curious.
The stories are out there.
You just have to look for them.
