Alan Drinkwater qualified #1 with low ET 4.026 & Top Speed 179.30 in his Flatout Gaskets Mustang, followed by Kaase Customers, Johnny Pluchino #2, Brad Waddle #4, Matt Giangrande #6, John Montecalvo #8, Lenny Lottig #11, Buddy Perkinson (Filling in for Camrie Caruso) #12, and Dennis Firkus #15. With Johnny Pluchino outlasting everyone to put his Ross Environments Mustang into the winners circle.

26 Championships to Celebrate



Beginning Jon’s career in 1977 with Dyno Don Nicholson’s Pro Stock Championship win in NHRA, and later with Kaase Racing Engines, 26 championships have been accumulated--the latest two in 2025 by John DeFlorian in NHRA and Alan Drinkwater in PDRA.



Last year while performing before a hometown crowd, DeFlorian won his first NHRA Championship at NHRA’s Midwest Nationals in St. Louis, the place where his racing campaigns began decades ago. Newly crowned two-time PDRA Extreme Pro Stock World Champion, Alan Drinkwater from Florida, won his first championship in 2023. After a short hiatus he returned with consistent performance to clinch his 2nd championship last year. Both championship drivers pay their respect and thanks to Kaase Racing Engines.
