BARROW COUNTY OFFICES TO CLOSE FOR GOOD FRIDAY

Barrow County’s administrative offices, courts, senior center, and animal shelter will be closed Friday, April 18 in observance of Good Friday.

Buildings and athletic fields will be closed at Victor Lord Park, though the park itself will remain open.

The Barrow County Water office will be closed, but essential staff will remain on duty. Citizens reporting a residential water emergency may do so by calling (770) 307-6610 to be connected with appropriate on-call staff. A wastewater emergency may be reported to (770) 298-9527. All other calls may go to the office line at (770) 307-3014.

Essential public safety personnel will also remain on duty during the holiday.

Out of an abundance of caution and for everyone’s safety, we have rescheduled all hearings that were to be held on January 10, 2025 to February 20, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. or if you choose, you may pay your ticket at pay payyourtix.com.

If you are scheduled to appear for Traffic Court on Friday, January 10, 2025, we will update this page should we receive any closure announcements.
