Legacy Grove

Hello to all of my Legacy Grove friends and family.

It is a bit of a sad day today. Effective at the end of July, I will be resigning from my position as Executive Director for Legacy Greenscapes. As years go by, opportunities to try new things are fleeting and there are still personal goals that I want to make the time to accomplish.

My two and a half years at Legacy Grove have been so memorable. I have met and gotten to know so many great people with varying interests and from all walks of life. Legacy Grove Park is a community all its own, and I am so thankful to have been so warmly accepted into it. I still plan to be involved as much as I can, and my family and I will continue to enjoy all of the wonderful things that Legacy Grove has to offer.

I want to extend a very special thanks to my team. Anna, Jason, and Maggie have been top shelf. Legacy Grove could not exist without them and it has been so much fun working with them, trying new things, refreshing existing activities, and just being a small part of their lives.

I also want to thank my amazing Board of Directors, both past and present. The Board has been filled with people who have a true love for not just the Park, but the City of Wi******er as well. They truly want to see our Park and the city as a whole thrive.

Lastly, I want to thank the previous Director, Deborah Jackson, for first bringing me into the Legacy Grove community as the Park's first fulltime Park Operations Manager. Her guidance, advice and friendship has meant so much to me.

Thank you all for so many great memories. I cannot tell you what they mean to me.

Congratulations to the Midland Trail Radio Club (MTRC) for a successful ARRL Field Day (Annual Event)! In 24 hours they made 576 contacts in every state of the US. Thank you for choosing Legacy Grove as your home base again this year!
