I don’t try to be perfect.
But I also don’t use the lack of structure that comes with summer as a reason to abandon every habit that makes me feel good.
I eat the food.
I go on vacation.
I make memories.
And I keep enough structure that I don’t feel like I’m starting over every Monday.

One of the most common questions I get is about my workout routine.
I strength train 4x per week, following an upper/lower split. I follow the exact plans in Empowered Strength (my monthly membership). I’m currently following the Summer Body Blueprint 6 week plan, it focuses on glutes, shoulders & abs.
I do 2 days of cardio, 30 minutes each session, usually the stair master. If I do cardio on a training day, I do it after I lift. (This is also built into the training program).
The other days I focus on movement through getting steps in- walking my dogs, shooting basketball, and being outside.
