Winchester Victim Witness Program

On this last day of Victims Right’s Week we wanted to thank the Wi******er Sheriff’s Office for all they do. A lot of people don’t realize this but they play an integral roll in helping us keep victims and witnesses safe!

Some examples are placing their bodies between the defendant and victim in court so the defendant can’t stare the victim down and escorting the victims to their cars after hearings if they are worried about their safety! These are just a few examples of what they do to help us!

Today is Administrative Professional’s Day so we felt it was the perfect day to honor the support staff of the Wi******er Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office!

These ladies are rock stars! They help with giving us important info on cases to help us serve our victims and witnesses. They help us when we are pulled in too many directions and to make sure when victims come by while we are in court that all the information we need is collected for us to get in contact. We honestly couldn’t do this without them!!
