Hi neighbors (and visitors)! If you spot a little trash as you wander around town this weekend. Please would you help us by dropping it into a trash can. It will help with the Post-parade clean up along our roads. Many thanks! 🌻🌻🌻

Sneak peek….the team has gathered to start putting our parade entry together. Our oak tree has arrived and will be assembled shortly. Almost everything is recycled and upcycled materials…hours of love has been spent to showcase the beauty of Wimberley and America.

Linda is the Artist/Producer behind our parade float this year. The amount of hours she has put into upcycling and recycling to make our float capture the spirit of our organization is unbelievable. Thanks to her and our volunteers they have upped our game! Be sure to look out for her and others along the parade route for a selfie with the Biggest Awesome Sunflower. 🌻

It’s National Pollinator Week!
Follow these simple steps to support pollinators in your yard:
1. Grow a variety of native plants that bloom from spring through fall.
2. Prioritize butterfly and moth host plants (food their caterpillars can eat!).
3. Leave areas of bare ground and brush piles for bee nests.
4. Avoid using pesticides, especially insecticides.
5. Talk to your neighbors about the importance of pollinators and their habitat.
