Wimberley Valley Rangers Monthly Meeting Recap & Upcoming Events:
The Wimberley Valley Rangers held their monthly meeting last night at the Wimberley Village Library at 6:30 PM. It was a productive gathering where members discussed upcoming service opportunities and summer events in the community.
Next on the calendar, the Rangers will be participating in the Wimberley Village Library Summer Kick-Off on June 4th. This fun-filled event marks the start of summer programming, and the Rangers will be there with activities and resources for local youth.
Just a few days later, on June 7th, the Rangers will again be lending a hand to the Lions Club during Wimberley Market Days. Our team will assist with crowd support and event coordination as part of our ongoing commitment to community service.
Mark your calendars and come say hello—we’ll see you all there!

Wimberley Valley Rangers Teach Knot Tying at the Wimberley Library
The Wimberley Valley Rangers returned to the Wimberley Village Library for another hands-on learning experience — this time teaching knot tying to local youth. The class, held in late April, welcomed young participants from 1st through 5th grade who were eager to learn practical outdoor skills.
During the session, Rangers introduced the group to four essential knots: the square knot, bowline, clove hitch, and figure-eight. Each child had the opportunity to practice tying the knots with rope provided, while volunteers offered step-by-step guidance and fun facts about how each knot is used in real-life outdoor situations.
The Rangers are committed to equipping kids with valuable skills that promote confidence, teamwork, and a love of the outdoors. A big thank you to the Wimberley Village Library for hosting us and to the enthusiastic young learners who made the event such a success.
We look forward to continuing our partnership with the community and offering more engaging activities in the months ahead!
