✨Mural Bringing New Life to Library Children’s Room🎨📚

The Wilsonville Public Library Foundation (WPLF) is proud to fund a new four-wall mural that will transform the Children’s Room. This project fulfills a long-held vision of the library staff, who collaborated with City Arts staff and the Arts, Culture, and Heritage Commission to select artist Julia Hunkler for the design.

WPLF Board Director Kiersten Rae Signalness, who participated in the selection process, stated: “It was a joy to be part of the collaborative process to select an artist whose vibrant mural reflects the imagination and ideas shared by the children who love this library, sparking creativity and helping young visitors feel a sense of belonging and representation in this space for years to come.”

The generous support the WPLF receives directly helps the library complete these projects and maintain a vibrant, accessible space for learning and discovery.
