N.C. Love In Action Emergency Medical Fund

During a time when the need is critical, we thank Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation for supporting our local families. Together, we’re providing more than a meal for our neighbors in need; we’re giving them hope.

Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation and LIA NC Love in Action are teaming up to provide access to nutritious food and address food insecurity. The Foundation provided a $5,500.00 Nourishing Our Neighbors grant to support local families experiencing hunger. Thank you for helping provide food and hope for families in our community.

We thank Nicole Kittrell Assistant Store Manager Food Lion #214, 2101 Tarboro Street, Wilson, North Carolina; our board of directors present: Otis Weaver (President), Doretha Kent-Jones (CEO), Raymond Renfrow (Staff Manager), and Adrian "AJ" Harris (Chief Information Officer), who helped us with the grant; our volunteers who work each 2nd & 4th Monday with the distribution; and the Wilson Community.
