Announcements for the upcoming week...May 4.

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to all of our teachers and staff members at Rock Ridge!!! All of our teachers and staff members truly go above and beyond to meet the needs of all of our students. They put the needs of the students at the center of every decision that is made within our building and it shows each and every day! Please join me in celebrating them all this week during Teacher Appreciation Week!
If you have signed up to assist with our last PTO Hospitality luncheon of the year, please have all items at Rock Ridge prior to 10:00 on Tuesday. We appreciate your support!!

Please make sure you review the WCS dress code policy, as we will continue to enforce it through out the remainder of the school year. As the weather gets warmer, we need to ensure that all of our students have on attire that is of appropriate length for school. Also, be reminded that tops should have straps that are 2 inches wide, if not wider.

¡¡¡Feliz Semana de Agradecimiento a los Maestros para todos nuestros docentes y miembros del personal de Rock Ridge!!! Todos nuestros maestros y miembros del personal realmente se esfuerzan al máximo para satisfacer las necesidades de todos nuestros estudiantes. Ponen las necesidades de los alumnos en el centro de cada decisión que se toma dentro de nuestra institución, ¡y eso se nota día tras día! ¡Por favor, acompáñenme a celebrarlos a todos esta semana, durante la Semana de Agradecimiento a los Maestros!

Si se han inscrito para colaborar en nuestro último almuerzo de hospitalidad del PTO del año, por favor asegúrense de traer todos los artículos a Rock Ridge antes de las 10:00 a. m. del martes. ¡¡Agradecemos su apoyo!!

Por favor, asegúrense de revisar la política de código de vestimenta de WCS, ya que continuaremos aplicándola durante el resto del año escolar. A medida que el clima se vuelve más cálido, debemos asegurarnos de que todos nuestros estudiantes vistan prendas con un largo apropiado para la escuela. Asimismo, les recordamos que las prendas superiores deben tener tirantes de 2 pulgadas de ancho, o más anchos.

Announcements for the upcoming week...April 27.

Our end of year assessments begin this week. Our K - 3 students will begin taking the end of year mClass reading assessment. We encourage our students to put forth their best effort on all components of this assessment.

Our Third, Fourth, and Fifth Grade students will extend their learning outside of the classroom this week. Please check your Class Dojo Stories this week for important information regarding this field trip.

Friday, May 1 is a teacher workday; therefore, students will not be in school. School will resume on a regular schedule Monday, May 4th.

Please be reminded that it is not too late to register your child for Kindergarten for the upcoming school year. Our goal is to have all students enrolled by the end of June! Please share with your friends and neighbors, as well! Feel free to reach out to the front office with questions or concerns.

Nuestras evaluaciones de fin de año comienzan esta semana. Nuestros estudiantes de Kínder a tercer grado comenzarán a realizar la evaluación de lectura de fin de año mClass. Animamos a nuestros estudiantes a esforzarse al máximo en todos los componentes de esta evaluación.

Nuestros estudiantes de tercer, cuarto y quinto grado ampliarán su aprendizaje fuera del aula esta semana. Por favor, revisen sus "Class Dojo Stories" esta semana para obtener información importante sobre esta excursión.

El viernes 1 de mayo es un día laboral para los maestros; por lo tanto, los estudiantes no asistirán a la escuela. Las clases se reanudarán con su horario habitual el lunes 4 de mayo.

Les recordamos que aún no es tarde para inscribir a su hijo en Kínder para el próximo año escolar. ¡Nuestra meta es tener a todos los estudiantes inscritos para finales de junio! ¡Por favor, compartan esta información también con sus amigos y vecinos! No duden en comunicarse con la oficina principal si tienen alguna pregunta o inquietud.
