At Lighthouse Films, we’ve always believed that great storytelling is built on strong creative partnerships. As we continue to grow, we’re excited to expand our roster of Directors, bringing together talented filmmakers whose creative vision, craftsmanship, and values align with the work we strive to create every day.

With this, we’re announcing our Director Roster, and we’d like to introduce you to Eternal Polk.

Eternal Polk is a three-time Emmy-nominated director, writer, and creative director with over 20 years of experience spanning documentaries, commercials, and music videos. Describing his work as “intimate, nuanced, and intentional,” he focuses on highlighting the deep humanity of his subjects.

In just the last five years, his work has won over 30 awards. His acclaimed debut feature film, Gaining Ground: The Fight for Black Land, was accepted into 17 film festivals, taking home 10 awards. Eternal’s work has been featured on major networks including HBO, FOX, ESPN, and BET.

Our very own was out capturing this weekend at ! Check out some of the amazing moments she caught.

It was a pleasure to host local Camera Operator Matt Doll .doll.18 while he prepped his Arri Trinity 2 Stabilizer for his next job. The Trinity 2 is a high-end 5-axis camera stabilizer, and with the pan-axis module the Trinity 2 becomes a stabilized remote head. With a high end tool like this, you have to prep and work with it to understand the possibilities and limitations. We love supporting our film community so they can be setup for success.
