How to clean your makeup brushes in 2 minutes:

1 - Start by laying out a clean white cloth or paper towel and your brush cleaner (we love Jenny Patinkin’s Luxury Vegan Makeup Brush Soap). Run bristles under warm water or submerge in a bowl of warm water.

2 - If your brushes just need a quick touch up, you can apply the solution directly onto the bristles until they’re damp. For bigger jobs, Gucci likes to add cleanser into a small bowl and dip the bristles in all the way to completely saturate them.

3 - Take the damp brush head and swish it back and forth against the towel (if using a soap pan, swirl the bristles over the soap pan, rinsing and repeating until a light foam begins to form) to remove product residue. Do this for about a minute, or until no more makeup comes off. Rinse under running water or swirl in clean water until they feel squeaky clean.

4 - Squeeze the brush head in a washcloth or towel to remove excess water and reshape. Lay your brushes horizontally on a flat surface to dry.

That’s it. Really!

P.S. A quick weekly wash prevents the growth of bacteria and keeps each color application pure, protecting your face and your brushes which are designed to last a lifetime. Add brush care to your self care routine!
