Every so often I enjoy photographing Longwood Gardens during “less than ideal” lighting conditions… and then I stop myself thinking, “less than ideal?” It’s not lost on me that I have the privilege and trust to photograph the Gardens at an “ideal” time, such as sunrise. The Gardens are truly stunning at all times of the day and I enjoy the extra challenge of showing that beauty when everything feels *extra* sharp with high-contrast. Most guests see the Gardens during this time of day and I hope to mix in more “real life” light in my photos at times. ✨
