I recently had the opportunity to create branding imagery for South Shore ’74 in Topsail Beach, NC, and honestly, it was one of those sessions that reminded me how much I love photographing businesses that are deeply connected to where they call home.

From first-time riders taking their very first eFoil lesson to seasoned pros chasing their next adventure, South Shore ’74 is creating experiences that are equal parts freedom, excitement, and fun. We spent the day documenting what makes this business special: the people, the energy, and the feeling of being out on the water with nowhere else to be.

One year around the sun and a beach full of memories.

One of my favorite parts of doing what I do is getting to watch families grow. I first met this family before their youngest was here, and getting the opportunity to see them again and document this new chapter was such a gift.

We spent the evening at Topsail Beach celebrating a first birthday with sandy toes, salty air, a little sailboat, and plenty of laughter. These are the moments I love most. The genuine interactions, the curiosity of childhood, and the memories that often feel ordinary now but become the moments you’ll cherish years from today.
