Remi! Congratulations! Watching you grow into “Dr. Remi” has never been about watching you earn a title; it has been about watching you discover who you were always created to become. I saw greatness in you, not because I gave it to you, but because God had already placed it within you. My assignment was simply to help you see what Heaven had already declared. There were moments when the journey was difficult. There were tears, disappointments, delays, and obstacles that could have convinced either of us to quit. Yet every challenge became another opportunity to grow, every setback became another lesson, and every closed door redirected you toward the one God had prepared. You deserve tremendous credit for choosing to do the work. Mentors can guide, encourage, challenge, and even believe; however, no mentor can do the work for another person. You embraced the process, refused to allow fear, guilt, doubt (DTh), and anxiety to have the final word, and you committed to becoming the woman God designed you to be. That is why today the world proudly calls you “Dr. Remi.” Your journey is also a testimony to everyone pursuing a dream.
Never underestimate the value of a qualified mentor. The right mentor doesn't simply tell you what you want to hear; they tell you what you need to hear. They challenge your excuses, stretch your thinking, hold you accountable, see your potential before you recognize it yourself, and refuse to let you settle for less than your purpose. A mentor cannot walk your journey for you, but they can help you avoid unnecessary detours and keep you moving toward your destiny. Dreams rarely become reality through talent alone. They require vision, discipline, teachability, perseverance, and the humility to receive guidance from someone who has already traveled roads you have yet to walk. That is one of the principles behind the transformational DayMaster Mindset (tDMM): greatness is not accidental; it is intentional and cultivated one thought, one decision, one disciplined action, and one transformed day at a time.
Dr. Remi, thank you for trusting me enough to walk beside you during this season of your life. Seeing you become who you are today is one of the greatest rewards any mentor could ever receive. Now your responsibility has changed. Become for someone else what I was willing to become for you.
Believe in people before they believe in themselves. Challenge them to rise above their comfort zone. Lead with integrity. Serve with humility. Never stop reminding people that God specializes in bringing extraordinary purpose out of ordinary beginnings.
