The church we see in the New Testament was a church built on commitment, faithfulness, consistency, relationships , fellowship, hard work, and sacrifice. What happened church??? Maybe it is the definition of church that has changed?? The church is you and me... the Body... not million dollar buildings. Investments back then was in souls not building materials or maintaining programs and buildings. In fact most of the time when in a building it was usually borrowed or a house. Our priorities have shifted... we need to get back to equipping and building people.

The offices of the ministry are to be training their followers to minister. That doesn't mean send them out before training and it doesn't mean just preach to them. It takes an investment in relationship and a mentoring process which includes many facets of training. Jesus did it.... We are not exempt. He had a 3 year equipping tract.

And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;
