Quick hello from-
Ryker, our livestock guardian dog,

Minden, 🐐who looks surprised I made it through the jungle that is their pasture right now,

Maisey, who thinks she’s a dog and jumps on you if you ignore her, 🐑

and one speckled hen the kids affectionately call “Chicken” 😂

Our sheep have been looking a little… blue, recently.
But don’t worry, they’re just planning the winter lambing season.

The blue chalk helps us track when each ewe is due, making lamb watch a little easier when the time comes.

We’re looking forward to more lambs from our Dorper ram, Duke. And excited to see what we get with the addition of our new Katahdin ram, Rome.

*We plan for December babies so the lambs are ready to go in the spring. We won’t have any lambs or sheep available for the rest of this year.
