Congratulations to Mr. Trey Harris, ACTC Plant and Animal Science Instructor, for being named the 2026 South Carolina Association for Career and Technical Education Teacher of the Year!

Mr. Harris brings a true “learning by doing” approach to CTE, helping students build real-world skills through agriculture, FFA, supervised projects, industry partnerships, and hands-on learning.

We are proud to celebrate this well-deserved honor and grateful for the impact Mr. Harris makes on ACTC students every day!

We’re so proud to share that we awarded a scholarship to Alex Wilker at his graduation ceremony!

Each year, we give scholarships to students with a GPA of 3.0+ who are headed to technical college or college to continue building for their future careers, and this year’s recipient is Alex Wilker. Alex began working with us in the ACTC work study program, and we’ve enjoyed getting to know him as he builds his knowledge and experience in the skilled trades.

Now that he has received his diploma, he plans to continue working at Hill Electric while pursuing a technical degree from Tri-County Technical College.

Congratulations, Alex—your future is bright, and we can’t wait to see the impact that you make!
