As we gather with family and friends, may we remember that true freedom is found first in Christ, and may we continue to seek God’s guidance for our nation.

Today’s episode is a tender and meaningful one. We’re joined by Julie Dominguez, a woman whose story carries both deep sorrow and quiet strength. Julie opens her heart to share about the loss of her teenage daughter, Meagan, and what she has learned through the long journey of grief.
I just want to say before we start how much I admire Julie’s willingness to be so open about something so painful. Grief is such a personal thing, and yet she has been willing to let others into that journey. Through her story, you really see who God has been to her in those darkest moments, and also how the people around her helped walk alongside her through that pain.
One thing that stood out to me so much in talking with Julie is just her huge mom heart. Her love for Meagan is so evident. It’s been many years since Meagan went to heaven, but you can tell it still feels so fresh to Julie. That kind of loss is not something you ever truly get over, it just still really hurts.
Before we start, I do have a special request. If you knew Meagan, would you send us a message and share your favorite memory of her, or maybe your favorite thing about her? I think that would be such a sweet way for us as listeners to encourage Julie and remind her how loved Meagan still is.
