Wichita Pride

Festival Day is almost here!! Here’s some guidelines to help everyone get into Century II in a timely manner!!

Getting your button in advance helps cut down on the lines to buy buttons day of the festival. We recognize some people are traveling and will have to get their buttons day of but encourage those who are able to go ahead and swing by The Workroom or Century II to get those!

Have your bag ready as you get to the door! There aren’t any restrictions on bag sizes or requiring clear bags however bags are subject to search so having them open and ready will help you get into the festival quicker!

There is no outside food and drink allowed inside Century II so make sure that reusable bottles are empty when you get to the doors! With the expected heat on Saturday we still encourage you to bring water to the parade, just make sure you finish it before you get to the festival!!

Pride Weekend is almost here!! We have a full schedule for this Friday and Saturday!
Faith Service at Riverside Christian Church will be an affirming service by local faith leaders! This is a free event.
Mx Wichita Pride Drag Pageant at Century II is the night we crown the new Mx Wichita Pride who will represent us in all things drag. Recommended 18+ and make sure you bring cash to tip the performers.
Wichita Pride Parade will start at the old courthouse on the corner of Central and Main. There will be a rally outside the courthouse starting around 11 where community members will speak on LGBTQIA rights in Kansas and what’s happening before the Parade takes off down Main Street.
Wichita Pride Festival at Century II is the largest Pride festival in the state of Kansas. With dozens of performers, over a hundred vendors, and activities for everyone it’ll be an amazing afternoon of community and fun.
Wichita Pride Afterparty also at Century II will be our grand finale. Join Wichita Pride and local DJ Ghost girl as we rave and party! This is ages 18+.

It’s a full weekend with events for everyone and we can’t wait to see you there. 💖🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️💖

We are taking active steps to make sure that Pride is an affirming space. All the bathrooms at the exhibition hall for Pride will be relabeled to gender neutral so that our participants can safely use the bathroom. The signs will be labeled with what facilities are inside so that you can choose which equipment you want to use.
