This spring, we had the opportunity to participate in a special project led by Foothills Workforce Development, highlighting local manufacturing and the incredible work happening right here in our community.
As a member of the Foothills Manufacturing Alliance, we stand alongside other manufacturers to grow the workforce of tomorrow through partnerships with Rutherford County Schools, Isothermal Community College, NC Works, Rutherford County Economic Development, and more.

Happy Holidays from White Oak Carpet Mill! 🎄

➡️ On Friday, October 27, White Oak Carpet Mill hosted students from (3) local middle schools. The goal was to expose them to different career opportunities in the community and what post-secondary education would benefit them if they chose one of these careers.
Everyone at the plant participated in this event by either showing or explaining a part of the process to the groups. It was a success and we are proud that our team stepped up to support us in promoting carpet manufacturing and White Oak Carpet Mill. Huge shoutout to the McNair Educational Foundation, and Rutherford County Schools. They made the tours run smoothly. 👍🏼

Other businesses involved included the Town of Forest City, Wastewater Treatment, State Employees Credit Union, and the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office.
