As we continue celebrating National Volunteer Week, we’re back with another highlight of the United Way of the Plains GIV Warehouse.

The GIV program creates meaningful connections between organizations with excess inventory and local nonprofits in need. With the support of dedicated volunteers, donated items are sorted, organized, and made available at no cost to agencies serving individuals and families throughout Kansas.

AGHers spend several days at the GIV Warehouse, helping ensure donated items are organized and ready to support local agencies. A special thank you to LeAnn Shalby for coordinating volunteers each year and helping make this effort possible.
