Inner Oasis
Just in case you needed this today ❤️
POV: what you don’t see behind a one hour event ✨
The outfit change was the easy part.
What came after was packing singing bowls, loading props, double checking supplies, carrying half my house to my car, troubleshooting in real time, and trusting that everything would come together somehow. 😂
And honestly?
Not every event goes perfectly. We had a few hiccups, limited hands, and zero footage from the actual experience because sometimes you’re too busy holding the space to capture it.
But people still showed up.
We still created something meaningful.
And a friend, , randomly passing by captured these moments at the perfect time — little reminders that even when things feel messy behind the scenes, there’s still beauty in what’s being built. 🌿
Small business ownership, healing work, and event days are rarely glamorous off camera… but I wouldn’t trade this journey for anything.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support these offerings and grow with us. 🤍
POV:
You said YES to one yoga class…
…and it quietly changed your entire life.
2015 me was terrified to walk into that first class.
I thought yoga was just stretching.
I had no idea it would become a mirror.
A place where I would slowly learn:
how to breathe,
how to soften,
how to stop running from myself,
and how to sit with the parts of me I spent years trying to burn out.
I kept coming back.
Again and again.
Not because I became “perfectly healed.”
But because each class brought me a little closer to understanding myself.
11 years later…
I am still thankful I said yes to that first class.
You never know which 60 minutes of your life
will become the beginning of coming home to yourself 🤍
My top 5 horror movies… but make it wellness 😅
Some of these might feel a little too familiar.
Because the truth is—
it’s not always the big things that throw us off…
it’s the tiny habits that keep our nervous system stuck in overdrive.
Skipping rest.
Pushing past what your body is asking for.
Treating stillness like it’s optional.
That’s the real plot twist.
Inside my classes, we do things differently.
We slow down. We stay longer. We actually let it land.
Because the real work isn’t the movement…
it’s what happens when you finally stop.
If this called you out just a little 👀
save this + send it to your yoga bestie
What I’m learning as a yoga practitioner…
is that the practice isn’t about doing more
it’s about noticing more
Noticing when I’m pushing
Noticing when I’m avoiding
Noticing when my body is asking for something different
For a long time, I thought progress looked like discipline
like showing up no matter what
Now it looks like honesty
Resting before I burn out
Pausing before I disconnect
Letting the practice meet me where I actually am
That’s the part no one really teaches you
If your practice has been feeling different lately
you’re not doing it wrong
you’re just starting to listen
Save this for when you need the reminder
I’m absolutely strutting on sunshine as ill be back at this May ☀️🌿
Peacefully Planted is back, and tickets for our offering are officially live for May 21st + May 28th from 6PM–7PM.
There’s something about guiding meditation in a space like Botanica that feels extra magical—surrounded by nature, softened by stillness, and reminded that peace doesn’t have to be earned… Sometimes, it just has to be chosen.
This experience is for the ones who have been carrying too much. The ones who need a breath. The ones who keep saying “I’ll rest later.”
Let this be your later.
Join me for an evening of guided meditation, nervous system reset, and intentional pause inside the gardens 🌱
