This nurse found out and immediately went to the shelter and adopted his dog.

She brings him to visit daily and will return him as soon as the man is released!❤️

Welcome back! and I am back! Exciting news!

It has been sometime since I have posted here. The last couple of years everyone has has to adjust to many changes in their lives and I am no exception. After over a decade working as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist seeing hundreds of clients, as a Certified Life Coach and Certified Hypnotherapist; the pandemic changed my practice.

I retired from working as a Marriage and Family Therapist last year. I missed seeing clients in person but felt that Zoom was not adequate for seeing couples, families and those with mental disorders. It was a very difficult decision and to continue my licensing requirements I would have had to attend classes to meet my CEU hours.

Many of my former clients and those seeking a therapist have touched out to me for therapy. I don't believe anyone would have believed we would still be in the grips of the crisis with this virus. Reluctantly, I have decided to not return to working in my role as a therapist. However, I am returning to life coaching.

I do want to make it clear that life coaching is not therapy. There are many huge differences but there are some similarities. Addressing the main difference; therapy is for those diagnosed with a mental disorder. Similar to therapy, life coaching provides clients with the tools that to make changes, adjust to change and to accept changes to their lives.

I feel that in using Zoom for sessions with my coaching clients will be a great tool. It is used more and more by many companies as working at home as become the norm. I am excited to get back to working with clients and helping them work to improve their lives.
