Rick Moose - 316 Health Insurance
When disaster strikes, your first call is 911.
Your second call? Me.
Health insurance problems usually show up right in the middle of a crisis. And let’s be honest—you don’t have time to remember everything I explained in a meeting three months ago (and I don’t expect you to).
That’s why I tell my clients—I’m not just here for enrollment paperwork, I’m here when the wheels come off. Call me and I’ll walk you through it:
• what to say (and what not to say)
• which card to hand over
• where to go so you don’t get buried in surprise bills
You don’t need to memorize the system—you just need someone you can reach when it matters. That’s me.
Want that kind of backup? Send me a message.
Part of the reason Medicare feels so overwhelming is because all the letters— Parts A, B, C, and D with Plans A|B|C|D|E|F|G|H|I|J|K|L|M|N—get thrown at you all at once.
The truth? It really comes down to two main paths:
Original Medicare + a supplement + Part D
Medicare Advantage (Part C), which rolls things together but has its own network and rules
That’s it. Two doors. Everything else is fine print about which door fits your life best.
And here’s the deal—I don’t expect you to memorize all this after one meeting. When the questions pop up (and they will), just call me. I’ll coach you through what matters and how to avoid stepping into something that looks cheap now but costs later.
If you’re 6–12 months from Medicare, send me a message. No pressure—I’ll just help you cut through the noise.
If you’re self-employed, those ads for $0 premiums look tempting. But here’s the catch: every plan balances three levers:
1. Premium — the cost to buy the insurance
2. Copays/Deductible/Max out of Pocket — the cost to use the insurance
3. Network — where you can use the insurance
Push one lever down, and the others usually pop up. Lower premium? You’re often trading for a higher deductible or smaller network.
The trick isn’t chasing the lowest price. It’s matching the levers to your reality: your meds, your doctors, your cash flow. Otherwise, that “cheap” plan ends up costing you twice—once in stress, and again in surprise bills.
Want a sanity check before you commit? Shoot me a message—no pressure.

Some things in life you can plan for.
Some things you can’t.
Health insurance isn’t about predicting the future — it’s about protecting it. It’s paying a little now so you’re not carrying the full financial weight if a medical disaster blindsides you.
The right plan isn’t about fear, it’s about freedom. Freedom to get care when you need it. Freedom to focus on your family instead of scrambling to cover bills.
I’ve seen one unexpected health event wipe out years of savings. I’ve also seen people breathe easy knowing it was covered. The difference? Having a plan in place before they needed it.
If you’ve been putting it off, maybe today’s the day you give your future self the gift of peace of mind.
Your plan doesn’t have to be perfect — it just has to be ready. Let’s talk.
Myth: “Offering employee benefits in my business will drain the coffers dry.”
Fact: The right strategy can be surprisingly affordable — and the return is bigger than most owners realize.
I’ve worked with small business owners who were convinced benefits were out of reach. After we ran the numbers, they discovered it could fit the budget without crushing their bottom line — sometimes for less than the cost of losing and replacing a good employee.
Here’s the kicker: offering benefits isn’t just about keeping people healthy. It’s about retention, morale, and showing your team they matter. In many cases, the loyalty you build saves you more than the plan costs.
If you’ve written off benefits as “too expensive,” let’s talk. The solution might be closer — and more attainable — than you think!

We’ve all been there—thinking insurance will cover it, then finding out… nope.
The truth? The system can be tricky, and sometimes it feels like the real villains are the fine print and the red tape.
That’s why you don’t just buy insurance—you work with someone who knows how to make the system work for you. My clients get clear answers, fewer surprises, and someone in their corner when it’s time to fight.

Ever sit down and actually try to make sense of your health insurance paperwork? It’s about as much fun as assembling IKEA furniture without instructions—except it could cost you a lot more than a missing Allen wrench.
If your brain hurts from copays, deductibles, coinsurance, and whatever else they throw at you, you’re not alone. I break this stuff down every day for folks just like you, no insurance dictionary required. If you want a quick “here’s what really matters for you” explanation, shoot me a message or drop a question below. No judgment. No pressure. Just good advice.
Change is scary—especially when it comes to health insurance. There’s a lot of noise out there, and it’s easy to feel lost in the shuffle. My role is to shine a light in the darkness and guide you through the system, step by step. Whether you’re facing new regulations, exploring different plans, or just have questions about what’s next, I’m here to help you make sense of it all—no pressure, just honest advice.
Health insurance doesn’t have to be complicated. For small business owners, even adding an accident policy can help you attract and keep good employees. If you’re curious about how accident coverage could work for your business, I’m happy to answer questions.
