Hello Blooming family, We have a sad announcement to make today. We will be unfortunately closing our doors on May 6th, 2023.

So.. what happened? Nothing!
We both have really grown the past few years as people and need to take a step away from a brick and mortar for a while while we focus on growing our families. Running a small business is hard and time consuming and unfortunately we need to be channeling our energy into other things right now. We felt like we owed you an explanation as to why because you all have given us your business and support since the beginning. We cannot begin to tell you have grateful we are for your support. Thank you Wichita for everything.

We would like to say that we know for a lot of you this is going to come as a huge surprise. As Tara said in the video, Bloom Formals was the right thing just at the wrong time for BOTH of us. While planning our exit plan, we had no idea exactly how to put into words how much Bloom has meant to us. It’s been fulfilling emotionally, spiritually, and physically. We LOVE our little shop and I know you all do too. God has truly blessed us beyond what we could imagine. We give him the glory for all our success.

To our Employees.
We seriously couldn’t have done this without you. We have grown to be a family at the store and shared countless laughs. You bring us joy every day and we cannot even begin to express our gratitude. Thank you so much for your commitment to your job, and your passion for helping others. Thank you for your personalities and perspective. For being you and helping us adapt and overcome. You are truly the best of the best.

Thank you for embracing our store as something you valued and supported. Your contribution of time and effort helped us so much.

To our friends and family.
Your encouragement over the last few years has made us who we are. Please know that although Bloom was short lived in Wichita we don’t consider this the end for each of us in the formalwear industry. We know that with your love and support we can come back to this some day.

Where to even begin.. when we started Bloom Formals in 2021 we couldn’t have imagined the friendships we would make or the support we would receive from our community. Your word of mouth referrals ultimately made us who we became. Our growth isn’t just coincidence, we know that you put in the work to share and talk about us in your every day life. This is truly how we survived and thrived. Thank you so much.

We will be posting an update shortly regarding our plan of action for the month of April. Please come see us to say goodbye, and shop our closing event. Again, this isn’t goodbye for us it’s see you later.
