Surrounded by stainless steel and lots of modern appliances, there is something comforting about toasting and grinding spices by hand. This was whole Jamaican allspice and some cinnamon sticks. We toast them until they begin to share their amazing aromas. Let them cool and start grinding with our mortar and pestle. It takes more time but we believe you're worth it. These spices are going into our Caramel Apple Pie cookie. We are catering a wedding this evening and everything must be perfect! Have a great weekend!

I, Chef Tim, want to extend a heart felt thank you to everyone who visited our booth at the Women’s Fair over the weekend. It takes almost 2 months of preparation and a flurry of last minute activity to provide fresh cookies for so many people. May 1st marks 12 years of serving people throughout Wichita. Many of you have been loyal customers the entire time and often come visit us at our booth. Despite being weary, our hearts are light. Thank you for sharing what our cookies mean to you. Thank you for welcoming us into your lives and asking us to serve those you love. You are why we do what we do. I realize the self indulgent nature of posts like this so thank you for taking a bit of your time to read it. I just wanted you to know you matter so very much to me.
