[Thunderstorm Outlook Through 5 AM] Scattered thunderstorms will continue to impact portions of southeast Kansas through 5 AM. The strongest storms will contain hail up to quarter size, damaging winds up to 60 mph, and heavy rainfall.

[10:20PM on Sunday May 31st] - Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 4AM has been expanded to include Butler, Cowley, Harvey, Marion, Sedgwick and Sumner counties. The main concerns are: wind gusts to 60-70 mph and hail up to two inch in diameter. Make sure to have multiple ways to receive warnings.

Severe storms are possible this afternoon and evening, especially for areas along and east of I-135. The strongest storms will be capable of hail up to tennis ball size, wind gusts up to 70 mph, a tornado or two, and heavy rainfall.
