**Important announcement from Wichita TEC**

Good afternoon, all –

Wanted to get a note out to the community to let you know of a recent change. David Walker has retired from his position at the Diocese of Wichita a few weeks ago, and has also retired from his responsibilities within the Wichita TEC Program. Knowing David, he wouldn’t want a big to-do, but we’d be remiss to not to state just how grateful we are for all he’s done. David attended his first TEC retreat – TEC 81 – in March of 2000, and has been on 30 TEC retreats. In addition to that, David began work for the Diocese 21 years ago and has served as the steward of the TEC program in Wichita for much of that time.

Whether you know David personally or not, he has played a huge part in the success, logistics, details, and spirituality of TEC for a very long time. Thank you, David, for all you’ve done for the Wichita TEC program and for believing that the chance for an encounter with Christ makes it all worthwhile.

Join Wichita TEC for a picnic as we celebrate 40 years of TEC retreats and a great summer of retreats! We’ll be at shelter #4 at Sedgwick County Park. Burgers, dogs, and drinks provided. Please bring a side to share, and any yard games you want!

The shelter is right near the sledding hill at the park!

Summer TECs will be June 8-10 in Hutchinson and June 28-30 in St. Paul.
