COMMUNITY ALERT:
WPD is aware of social media posts promoting a “teen takeover” at Towne East Square on Saturday. The gathering is illegal and not sanctioned by mall ownership. The mall has the right to eject anyone from its property. WPD will have an enhanced presence to deter unlawful activity. Fighting, property damage, trespassing or disorderly conduct will result in arrest, removal, a property ban, and prosecution to the fullest extent. Parents should speak with their children about the consequences.
