I am beyond ecstatic about today. We met so many great people, did a lot of mini sessions, got amazing feedback, and was asked to come back in October to do it again . So thankful for Saul Garcia and Kelsey Bischler for helping and being a part of it. 🙏

WHY HEALING CAN FEEL LIKE YOU’RE LOSING YOURSELF
There is a season in healing that almost nobody prepares you for.
Because it doesn’t feel like becoming more yourself.
It feels like becoming no one at all.
The things that once defined you no longer fit.
The habits that once protected you stop working.
The relationships built around old versions of you begin to shift.
Even your interests can change.
And for a while, you wonder…
Who am I if I’m no longer who I’ve always been?
This is where many people believe they’re doing something wrong.
They think they’ve lost their spark.
They think they’re broken.
They think they need to get back to who they used to be.
But healing rarely takes you backward.
It asks you to let go before it shows you what’s next.
The nervous system often mistakes the unfamiliar for danger.
So even when your life is becoming healthier…
Your body may feel uncertain.
Your mind may question everything.
Your emotions may grieve what no longer belongs.
Not because you made the wrong choice.
Because every ending deserves to be honored.
Healing isn’t only about releasing pain.
It’s also about releasing identities.
The strong one.
The fixer.
The people pleaser.
The one who never asked for help.
The one who carried everyone else’s weight.
Those identities may have helped you survive.
But they were never meant to become your permanent home.
As they fall away, there can be a quiet space where nothing feels familiar.
That space isn’t emptiness.
It’s possibility.
It’s where your nervous system begins learning that peace doesn’t have to be earned.
That rest isn’t laziness.
That boundaries aren’t rejection.
That your worth was never dependent on how much of yourself you gave away.
Eventually, something remarkable happens.
You stop trying to become the person you were.
You stop trying to prove who you are.
You simply begin living from a place that feels honest.
Healing doesn’t erase you.
It uncovers the parts of you that were buried beneath survival.
Sometimes feeling lost is simply the bridge between who protected you…
…and who is finally free to live.
