Somewhere along the way, the ducks became part of the dress code 💛

At this point, we’re fully committed to the duck lifestyle - and you should too! Adopt your duck by 6:25 pm Friday, June 12. Then join us at Exploration Place for one of Wichita’s most exciting summer events as thousands of ducks are released into a live river race.

Each duck is numbered and if yours crosses the finish line first, you win $10,000! Best of all, every duck helps support hands-on science and discovery in our community.

Don't forget! Tomorrow morning is the Riverfest River Run and it will be taking place near the museum. If you are planning on arriving at the museum before 10 am, you'll want to use this map for the only route that gets you to the Exploration Place parking lot.

The run is scheduled to be over at 10 am and road barricades will come down shortly after.

Rise 'n Shine! Riverside Yoga and Zumba is back May 9 through September 19. Join us at the Wichita Foundation Amphitheater every Saturday, weather permitting, to stretch, dance or just enjoy a fun start to your weekend. All ages and experience levels are welcome.

Saturday mornings just got better! Join us at 8 am at the Wichita Foundation Amphitheater to walk, jog, run, or stroll along the river. It’s free and open to everyone.
