Flint Ridge Kennels

Did a little yard work with some birds this morning. Time to get to training some dogs for the upcoming season. Stone on the left and Ranger on the right. These two just happen to be CH and RU CH of the Region 8 Walking Shooting Dog Championship held this past spring at Croton Creek.

For those that remember, our Field Bred English Cockers, Lady Bug and Parker had a litter of puppies about a year ago. Through no fault of his own, we have got one of the males, a liver roan male, back to our kennel. He has been raised in a house but has spent a little time in our kennels. He is a sweet boy and needs a new home. He is a sturdy built dog that needs a loving home. He would make someone a great house dog or a great field dog. Either way, he needs room to run and play. I will get some pictures of him and if anyone is interested in him, PM me.

We are looking for a Pointer that is of derby age to run in walking derby stakes this next field trial season. We will be running in many walking shooting dog Championships this next season and I would like a derby capable of winning the companion derby stakes. I am not in a hurry and can wait till end of summer camp season for the right dog.

I am trying to get some quail boxes/cages from Roadside Quail in Alleyton, TX. The very nice guy that owns the place does not ship. The nearest UPS Store is a 45 miles from them and if you have ever had anything packed and shipped at a UPS Store, it is quite expensive. Anyone in Texas need a box that could pick up four of them for me and help ship them? I would be happy to pay for your box and give you something for your time. I have a UPS account to pay for the shipping, I just need them boxed up.
