Planted Tea Shop
05/27/2026
Hi, I’m Naquela (like MaKayla with an N) Marie, owner of Planted Tea Shop🌿
With so many new faces here lately, I realized I’ve never properly introduced myself.
Planted grew from my own journey with wellness, mindfulness, and reconnecting with nature in more intentional ways. Over the years I’ve studied and continue to study herbalism, including clinical herbalism, while learning how plants, rituals, nutrition, and slowing down can support the body and mind together.
I’ve also had opportunities to live and travel abroad, including living in Thailand, experiences that deeply shaped how I view healing, community, daily ritual, and presence.
What started as personal exploration slowly became Planted: a space centered around loose leaf tea, herbs, education, conversation, and creating accessible ways for people to reconnect with themselves.
Outside of Planted, I work in community engagement and education, and a lot of what I care about overlaps — connection, access, mindfulness, creativity, and helping people feel supported.
At Planted you’ll find loose leaf teas, individual herbs, tea education, pop-ups, tastings, workshops, and a whole lot of intention behind every blend.
I’m really grateful you’re here. Whether you’ve been following since the beginning or just found this page recently — welcome 🌱

Wait… did you know white, green, oolong & black tea all come from the same plant? 🌱
It’s all about how the leaves are processed after harvest — from delicate white tea to bold black tea.
We talked about this in Tea Foundations Part 1, and this Saturday we’re continuing the journey with Tea Foundations Part 3: Tea as Ritual ✨🍵
This round is all about slowing down, creating intention, and exploring how tea can become part of your everyday rhythm — not just something you drink.
If you’ve been wanting to:
• create more mindful routines incorporating herbs
• learn more about tea & herbs
• connect with yourself in a softer way
• or simply experience tea differently…
