For a long time I thought happiness was something I’d arrive at.
Like I’d finally feel it once life slowed down, I accomplished enough, or everything fell into place.
But lately I’ve realized happiness has been waiting for me at home all along.
It’s in the few quiet minutes while the tea steeps. It’s choosing to slow down instead of rushing to the next thing. It’s creating little moments that remind me life isn’t only meant to be productive—it’s meant to be experienced.
Maybe that’s why I keep coming back to tea.
Not because it fixes everything, but because it invites me back to myself.
