Happy Sunday, all! I just wanted to post a PSA for all of my customers.

If we agree on a time for you to pick up your cake, cookies, bread, or whatever you have ordered, please please please do your best to be here at that time. No matter how much I'd like to give you all day to pick up your order, it takes quite a bit of time out of my family and I's schedule to wait for you. I completely understand traffic, delays, changes in plans....totally fine! Just do me a solid and communicate that to me! I have had so many instances of people not showing up for their orders (even wedding cakes!) on time, and I will get a call hours later saying they are on their way. That will unfortunately not be tolerated after today. I simply cannot adjust my schedule and miss events due to a delay in pickup if you do not communicate with me. If you DO communicate, and we work something out to adjust the pickup time, that is totally fine!

Bottom line, please be here promptly at the pickup time you requested, or communicate with me no later than the pickup time to move things around if we need to. If orders are not picked up within one hour after the time you chose and I have not heard from you, I will post the order up for a discounted price for others to buy and you will be considered a no-show.

I apologize for the harsh post, but I do my best to respect your time, and I hope to be given the same respect back. I am a very understanding and kind person, and I want to be able to provide you with wonderful goodies for your events! Everybody meet Bread Zeppelin! She's my trusty sourdough starter who absolutely loves doubling in size every time I feed her (yep, she's currently in a gallon jar and she got to the top of the other gallon jar yesterday! I need to upgrade 😉).

I have a pretty hefty schedule for the next few weeks, so I wont be able to take any orders for now, but the first Goddard Main Street Market for 2024 is coming up in April, and there will be plenty of sourdough loaves to purchase, as well as dehydrated sourdough starter with day-by-day instructions to rehydrate her and a beginner sourdough loaf recipe!

Now to go work on some superbowl cookies to show to you all soon!
