Looking to take on a challenge on the trail! Here are 5 of St. George Utah’s spiciest hikes. These aren’t necessarily long hikes, but they are steep!

Before you hit these trails please consider your fitness level and start at the intensity/skill level that is most appropriate. Some of these trails include significant scrambling with exposure and should not be taken lightly.

🥾Shinob Kibe: Located in Washington, Utah this trail is 1.4 miles round trip with 615’ of elevation. This trail has some edges that may be challenging for those with fear of heights. 🌶️ 4/5 on the spice level

🥾Mollies Ni**le: Located in Hurricane, Utah this trail is 2.3 miles round trip with 1,200’ of elevation. There is a lot of loose rock with some very steep sections. I recommend doing this trail with a friend for safety. 🌶️ 5/5 on the spice level

🥾Fortitude: Located in Ivins, Utah the is trail is 1.8 miles round trip with 1,100’ of elevation gain. ‼️This trail includes class 5 scrambling and should not be taken lightly. Do not do this trail alone! And only do it if you are a very experienced hiker. 🌶️ 7+/5 on the spice level

🥾Padre Canyon: Located in Ivins, Utah at Snow Canyon State Park, starting via Tuachan the trail is 2.9 miles round trip with 750’ of elevation gain. 🌶️ 4/5 on the spice level

🥾Tech Ridge Stairs: Located in St. George this trail is .6 miles round trip starting at the base with 333 steps one way with 220’ of elevation. This is a great option to test the fitness level, because if you aren’t up for the all 333 stairs you can turn around to the base. 🌶️ 3/5 on the spice level

Have you done any of these trails? What did you think?
