The population of African lions is less than half of what it was 30 years ago.
Rapidly being wiped out as a result of human wildlife conflict, habitat loss and being poached for their body parts, this iconic and magnificent beast could be extinct by 2050 - We need to act now to stop this happening!
There are hundreds of conservation groups in Africa and Asia all in need of funds to equip their rangers protecting lions and other species in their area - I urge you to help where you can.
These two lionesses found in Nairobi National park are classic examples of how humans encroach further and further into their habitat.
