What community looks like to me…

Not perfection.Not everyone agreeing.Not everyone having it all figured out.

Community looks like people showing up… as they are.

It looks like being able to sit next to someone who is different from you…and still choosing connection.

It looks like conversations that might feel uncomfortable…but are rooted in honesty, not avoidance.

It looks like being seen in your growth…not held to your past.

Community is not built by everyone being the same.It’s built by people being willing to stay…to listen…to understand…and to grow together.

To me, community looks like:

• supporting each other without needing to fix each other
• giving space for people to evolve
• taking responsibility for how we show up
• choosing connection, even when it would be easier to disconnect

It’s not always easy. But it’s real.

And it’s something we’re building… together.

Bridges are mending.
Connections are being restored.
Spaces that once felt distant are finding their way back together.

Not by force.
Not by going backward.
But by meeting each other where we are now.

This is what healing in community looks like.

We are not here to relive the past.
We are not here to hold each other to old versions.

We are here to:

• reconnect
• rebuild
• rediscover
• and grow… together

The past has its place.
But it does not define this space.

What matters is how we show up today.
How we listen.
How we choose to meet each other now.

This is a space for connection.
For healing.
For growth.

And sometimes…
for bridges to be rebuilt in ways they never were before.

This is a community space, not a business marketplace.

You are absolutely welcome to share:

I want to be real about why Community ICT exists.

Years ago, I tried to create something like this.A space where practitioners and community members could come together, collaborate, and actually support one another.

And the truth is… it didn’t work.

Part of that was because the community wasn’t ready.But if I’m being honest, I wasn’t ready either.

The last few years have been a deep journey of growth for me. I’ve gone through highs and lows, moments of incredible support and moments where I was criticized, misunderstood, and knocked down. I’ve experienced what it feels like to be lifted up by community, and what it feels like to be pushed out of it.

Both of those experiences taught me something important.

They taught me what real community actually requires.

It requires growth.It requires honesty.It requires people who are willing to show up as humans instead of hiding behind walls.

Over the past few years many of us have been doing our work on our own. Building our practices, healing our wounds, learning lessons, growing in ways we couldn’t have before.

That time mattered.

Because before you can build a healthy community, you have to build yourself first.

But there comes a moment when the next step is no longer doing everything alone.The next step is coming back together and building something bigger than any one person.

That is what Community ICT is about.

This isn’t about returning to me.This is about returning to community.

If there has been distance, tension, or things left unsaid between people over the years, maybe this is the time to approach those things differently. Not with blame, but with maturity. Not with division, but with conversation.

Because real community doesn’t mean we always agree.It means we learn how to move through differences and create harmony from them.

Many of us have grown.Many of us have changed.Many of us have spent years building our own foundations.

Now imagine what could happen if we brought those foundations together.

A stronger community.A larger field of support.A space where people can grow, collaborate, and lift each other up instead of standing apart.

That is the vision behind Community ICT.
