What to say…what to say…I am home,thanks to and extremely grateful for, fellow quilter Joni Schon. Who when the airlines failed me in Dallas met me at the door with wine, the cutest English Bulldog ever, a comfortable bed and shower. In the morning she started me off with the best chocolate pastry I’ve had, even in France, and coffee before taking me to the rental car office. It was an easy and peaceful drive home from Dallas. I just couldn’t face another day of waiting for a flight that may or may not happen. So Joni…. Thank you so much! Another example of how quilting brings the very best people into our lives. ❤️

Hiked up and explored the historic ruins of the Fort of Buoux. Didn’t take many photos out of concern of dropping the phone. But it was the best hike of the week, got the hot exposed out of the way and finished in the shade of the creek.

Looking down from above the Abbey of Notre-Dame de Senanque where they are know for their lavender and honey production, not quite ready to bloom yet. Formed in 1148. Lavender and honey panna cotta for desert.
