The Embarrassed Men

February 23, 1983 Scene Report for Boston Rock magazine written by Blake Gumprecht. It's a mixed bag, as this was a transitional moment in Lawrence. Gone were the Opera House, Off the Wall Hall, and us (off to Chicago). However, The Embarrassment were still together (for a few more months), The Mortal Micronotz, Broadcast, and Start had records out on Fresh Sounds. Thumbs, DuChamp, and The YardApes are mentioned as well as KC's Tunnel Dogs. Other good things were Rock Therapy Records (RIP Dave Howard) and of course KJHK.
