🌿 Meet Emma, Our Activities Director and Personal Trainer! 🌿

Emma brings passion, energy, and a holistic approach to everything she does. On her journey to creating a healthy work-life balance, she became a certified personal trainer, cycling instructor, health & life coach, and certified nurse assistant — all while staying active in her tennis, volleyball, and pickleball leagues!

She was inspired to join the our team because of our holistic approach to care and our true commitment to prioritizing the health and well-being of our residents.

We’re so grateful to have Emma sharing her talents and dedication with our community every day!

👋 Meet Ana Boyd – Director at Marama Kansas
Ana is a proud mother of six children, ranging from 6 months to 15 years old. When she’s not attending her kids’ sports events or baking at home, she enjoys traveling, especially to tropical places. Sundays are reserved for Jesus and football, with the Kansas City Chiefs as her team—though she keeps it a secret from her Cowboys fan husband.

A Navy veteran and former Crane Operator, Ana transitioned from a CNA to a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) nearly two years ago. Her passion for helping others, particularly through Marama’s holistic approach to healing, is deeply personal, especially following her father-in-law’s dementia diagnosis. Ana is honored to be part of her patients’ care teams and looks forward to making a difference in their lives.

At Marama Kansas, we make brain wellness part of our daily routine! Our Daily Chronicles activity helps keep minds sharp and spirits high by encouraging memory recall, conversation, and cognitive engagement. 🗞️💬

Whether it’s discussing current events, reminiscing on the past, or exploring new topics, this daily habit is a powerful way to support brain health and build community.
