Had a new experience this morning. “Thank You” Chip Baker for including me and Coach Barnes on the radio talk show 1 on 1 with DP (93.7 The Ticket in Lincoln, Nebraska) to discuss The Path for Coaches Vol 4 - Communication which hits bookshelves next week.

I’ve enjoyed getting to know Chip and having him share with our students and teachers. I remember when Sports Illustrated did a six page story on the Texas Tech Meats Judging Team. While a little different, it was another chance to bring agriculture and the FFA into the mainstream because our agricultural science teachers and FFA student leaders are coaches too … pouring into the success of our members.

Honored to contribute a chapter to this book … AND … my son William also joined in and wrote a chapter from his perspective as a new competitive soccer coach.
