First manufactured in 1938 and utilized in both civilian and military service before, during, and after WW2. Used by all manner of engineer and Seabee unit in every theater, and allied units as well.

Announcing our biggest project yet, and our first real multi-part kit, in 1/87 scale, the fully detailed steam shovel flat car load! Although envisioned as an unrigged shovel for shipping via flat car, an ambitious modeler could possibly, with the right skills and model cable, rig this as a "working" steam shovel as well. I mean, the parts are all there, all that's stopping you are the limits of your imagination. Be advised though-- This is a work in progress and some parts of the design may be altered as things proceed-- printing is a dynamic process, and sometimes what looks good on paper doesn't print as it should on the plate! Stay tuned!
