I have consistently committed to my oral care routine, vitamins, intermittent fasting—and I’m 6 months into pilates without missing a week (minus travel).

But here’s what I’m noticing:

Those wins? They still feel fragile. Like if I miss one day, the whole thing collapses. Like I’m holding my breath waiting for the other shoe to drop. Like I don’t ACTUALLY believe I’m someone who follows through on things for herself.

And I think I know why.

For 34 years, I’ve been building evidence that I’m reliable—for OTHER people.

I show up for my clients, for my family, my daughter, for dinners, for deadlines, for everyone else’s needs. And in those areas? My self-belief is unshakeable. I KNOW I’ll follow through.

But for me? The evidence is thin. Or worse—it’s full of half-starts and abandoned commitments. Workout plans that lasted 2 weeks. Business ideas I didn’t execute. Goals I set and quietly let slip.

So this year, I’m building NEW evidence.

Evidence that I’m someone who commits to MYSELF with the same energy I commit to everyone else.
Not because I have it figured out (I really don’t). Not because I suddenly found willpower or discipline.

But because people I love are watching. And I refuse to model for anyone that their needs come last. That women are only reliable for others, never themselves. That self-belief is something you’re born with instead of something you BUILD through consistent action.

→ COMMIT means showing up for my pilates class even when I don’t feel like it
→ COMMIT means not self-soothing with food when I’m stressed
→ COMMIT means posting my journey even when it feels vulnerable
→ COMMIT means celebrating my wins without minimizing them
→ COMMIT means treating my business like it matters (because it does)

Maybe your word isn’t COMMIT the year, but you resonate with some of these thought patterns, too.

And hey—if you have a word of the year, drop it below. It’s honestly so encouraging to see other mamas committing to their own goals, and this feels like one small way we can cheer each other on.

Christmas dump so far as we get into the holiday spirit. And couldn’t miss an opportunity to see the new extended and come home with a new ornament or 3 😉

Also, in love with these candle lights!! They flicker like candles too and you get a remote to turn them on and off. Linked in my Amazon Storefront or DM me and I’ll send you the link! 👌🏻
