Whenever I am asked/challenged about prayer, my response is that prayer is the converstion I have with my mentor, friend, father, who is God. Talking about how to become a "better" me, my hopes, my fears, my failings but most of all, how to be a light and do what I can to make this life better for others. Yes, this world will become heaven as we decide to become and do better but we cannot do this alone. Who is God? It's not just who but what, where and when. He is the alpha and the omega, in all, ever present.
