The 10th Annual Peace N the Hood 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament for ages 12-18 is coming up on Wednesday, June 3rd from 4-8pm on the outdoor courts at Steve Cox Memorial Park!
Hosted by the Log Cabin and Southwest Youth and Family Services, teams can sign up in advance or at 3pm on June 3rd.
* Outdoor Courts at Steve Cox Memorial Park (1321 sw 102nd st)
* 3 players + 1 alternate per team
* Brackets: Boys ages 12-14, Boys ages 15-18, Girls ages 12-18
* Trophies, prizes, and jerseys for players
* PNTH Merch and free food for everyone (1st come 1st serve)
Community partners including Workforce Development Council, Southwest Youth and Family Services, YWCA of Greenbridge, and the King County Parks and Recreation White Center Teen Program are once again providing the extremely popular PNTH Job and Resource Fair for ages 16-24 at the Log Cabin form 3-5pm. 200+ youth, 20+ employers, and 10+ resource providers are expected to attend. Resume & employment application assistance will be provided in advance, and on-site interview options are scheduled day of the event with select employers.

The 10th Annual Peace in the Hood Job & Resource Fair for ages 16 – 24 is coming up on Wednesday, June 3rd from 3-5pm at Steve Cox Memorial Park (1321 SW 102nd 98146.)
The PNTH Job & Resource Fair provides employment and mentorship opportunities to youth ages 16 – 24 and is presented in partnership by Workforce Development Council, Southwest Youth and Family Services, YWCA of Greenbridge, and the King County Parks and Recreation White Center Teen Program. 200+ youth, 20+ employers, and 10+ resource providers are expected to attend. Resume & employment application assistance will be provided in advance, and on-site interview options are scheduled day of the event with select employers.

According to Vana, Spring 2026 has officially sprung at Steve Cox Memorial Park. And to celebrate, we're hosting not one but TWO community events this Saturday, May 2nd!
WC Refresh with the Log Cabin at the WCTP Learning Garden:
• Offered in partnership with the WCCDA.
• Steve Cox Memorial Park (1321 SW 102nd St 98146)
• Saturday, May 2nd from 11am - 1pm.
• Teen Volunteers ages 12-19.
• Help get the teen program ready for spring.
• Snacks, volunteer t-shirts and school credit included.

Free day of Community Soccer on the Multi-Purpose Field:
• Offered in partnership with the RAVE Foundation.
